LPG price increase: Commercial LPG cylinder prices were raised by ₹100 by Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) at different locations across the nation.
It should be emphasized that this is the second increase in prices for commercial LPG cylinders in the previous two months. Starting on November 1, the increase will be implemented.
While the price of commercial LPG cylinders increased, domestic LPG, which is used in homes for cooking, stayed constant.
A 19 kg LPG cylinder costs ₹1,833 in Delhi after the most recent price adjustment. The price of the same cylinder in other major cities is ₹1,943 in Kolkata, ₹1,785 in Mumbai, ₹1,914.50 in Bengaluru, and ₹1,999.50 in Chennai. – LPG price increase
The cost of domestic LPG, which is mainly used for cooking in homes, stayed constant while the price of commercial LPG cylinders increased.
It is available for ₹929 in Kolkata. The domestic LPG cylinder is being sold for ₹918.5 in Chennai, and it costs ₹902.5 in Mumbai.
A 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder still costs ₹903 in Delhi.
The Union cabinet decided on October 4 to increase the cooking gas subsidy for about 96 million low-income households from ₹200 to ₹300 per cylinder.
