In the opening half of Saturday’s specialized trading session, the domestic benchmark indices saw a modest uptick, prolonging their recent three-day surge. This uptrend was underpinned by the injection of fresh foreign funds into the market, showcasing resilience and bolstering investor sentiment.
After enduring days of continuous outflows, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) reversed course and commenced buying on Friday. According to market data, their stock purchases on Friday amounted to a substantial ₹1,616.79 crore. This reversal in investment behavior signals a notable shift in sentiment and could potentially inject renewed vigor into the market.
