Adani Group
The Gautam Adani Group intends to invest up to Rs 20,000 crore to quadruple its cargo capacity at ports to 1 billion tonnes by 2030, making it the world’s largest corporation in this industry. Meanwhile, Adani Enterprises announced on Friday that India’s corporate affairs ministry was looking into the group’s two airports in Mumbai.
Tata Motors (TaMo)
According to analysts, the automaker appears to be on pace to become a zero net debt firm for its domestic operations in 2023-24 and for Jaguar-Land Rover (JLR) in FY25.
Tata Motors will sell a 9.9 percent ownership in Tata Technologies to TPG Rise Climate Fund (9%) and Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation (0.9%), as part of its aim to divest non-core businesses.
Avenue Supermarts (DMart)
Q2 net profit fell 9.1 percent to Rs 623.35 crore for the quarter ended September 2023, compared to Rs 685.71 crore in the previous quarter. Total income, on the other hand, increased 18.6 percent year on year to Rs 12,661.29 crore from Rs 10,673.90 crore.
HDFC Life
For the quarter ending September 2023, the private insurance increased its net profit by 15.5% year on year (Y-o-Y) to Rs 376.77 crore. Net premium income increased 12.5% year on year to Rs 14,755.96 crore, up from Rs 13,110.91 crore.
Dalmia Bharat
reported a 161.7% increase in Q2FY24’s consolidated net profit to Rs. 123 crore from Q2FY23’s Rs. 47 crore. The total income of Rs 3,234 crore increased 7.5% YoY.
Ashok Leyland
has obtained a purchase order from Tamil Nadu State Transport for 1,666 buses.
